Vietnam Veterans of America

Chapter 825 South Jersey

Our central focus is a strong, united voice for resolving issues of vital importance to veterans and their families. The Vietnam Veterans of America is the leading advocate for recognition of health issues still affecting veterans - Agent Orange - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder- Hepatitis C and the approximately 10,000 military personnel used as involuntary test subjects in biological and chemical warfare tests in the 1960 known as Project SHAD (Shipboard Hazard and Defense) and Project 112.

We maintain a strong focus on the issue of unaccounted for American POW/MIA personnel.

We act as a local advocate for veterans' issues in our local communities.

We actively support veteran programs at the Ventnor Veteran Center.

We support community-based projects and causes that benefit the youth of our community.

We have a scholarship program for deserving students.

We actively support activities and events that honor our American veterans.

We provide a positive forum for social and emotional interaction among members.

We're your neighbors, colleagues, family and friends.

WE COULD USE YOUR HELP!

We meet the 1st Monday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Hamilton Township Rescue Squad building in Mays Landing.
